Broke into my new custom rolls today and smoked this Elefante rolled by Juanita. This is a big mouthful at 60rg and the nearest thing I can compare it to was the Monte 80th Anniversary I smoked last November.

It was just ok. This wasn't the best example as I've been playing with my humidity levels and it was a bit too "wet" for my tastes.

Had my last of the tatuaje skinny monsters. Only really enjoyed a couple of them, bit disappointing.

They are a bit of a peppery acquired taste but I'm told that some US smokers expect a mouthful of peppery smoke

It does seem to be that way. I sometimes try some of the highly regarded nic cigars and wonder why they are loved so much. Having said that I've had some very good tatuajes; the caibaiguan (non maduro) and the brown label spring to mind. These just didn't do a lot for me.
