Back half of the garden has lots of empty patches. Lots of shady areas and trees belonging to neighbours. It's better so far than I was expecting. [emoji106]
Even though it's maintenance I like grass and don't mind the effort. MLW tends to the rest of the garden.
Still lots of work to do. And going to get some professional advice this year.

I've got clay soil so it just gets waterlogged in the winter and then drys out all lumpy in the summer.
I'm working on it and it's getting better but it's definitely a long term project, no quick fix.
Yesterday's was a bit of a let down really, as I often find to be the case with expensive sticks, will need to see what the others in the box will be like (the other I had was excellent); although it may be some years before I try another - maybe when I become a Sergeant
