I have both but I'm careful not to use the Superglue for cigars! But yes I recently found a badly damaged Siglo VI that was perfectly smokable after being repaired with sugar glue.Originally posted by Vitola View PostHave you tried it Peejay?'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

Yes I have used the El Ligador, it is v.good. Think the main difference is the PerfecRepair, has tiny micro-fibres mixed in, and seems to dry extremely quickly with no smell or residue. It is particularly effective with cracks or holes....dabbing the glue instantly fills the breach....Originally posted by gojira View PostI use this one. Got it for free with a cigar purchase a few years ago.

Short Pleasures.....with a kick
On a whim and a prayer, I decided to try the Davidoff Puro D'oro Gorditos - Yasama wrapper very delicate, torn as you can see - touched up with a repair. A lovely aroma on the cold draw of oatmeal and nuts - fired up with cedar notes, cream and pepper - so many flavours, sweetness, cedar, spice, earthy - always edging to a medium plus strength - final third sneaks up on you kicks you in the guts - I only had a light meal this evening....needs a full meal and a sugary drink to stop the last third catching you out! but a very flavoursome smoke

As part of my recent alcohol abstinence experiments - I have been searching out alternatives to enjoyable drinks to accompany all my cigars. I am tending more and more to agree with @thedame comments on his choice of beverage. Coffee and water.
I drink too much coffee already, but I have started making lemon water each day. Boiled water poured over one or two chopped lemons, a handful of pink peppercorns and one inch piece of cinnamon stick - (optional couple of teaspoons of sugar.) Leave the lot to go cold, strain into a bottle it and put it in the fridge. You can reuse the lemons spice mix, several times; just pour on more boiling water.....I find it makes a refreshing drink, cleans the pallet, adds hint of sweetness, and for me it really increases my aroma perception.....
