Sick Period ?

Do you think all cigars suffer sickness within their 1st 12 months of boxing ?

Simple answer, I don't. All cigars will change flavour as they mature but not all will taste unsmokeable. Someone far wiser than me will probably explain why. I bought a bundle of custom rolled cigars once that almost overwhelmed me with ammonia smell when I unwrapped them, that is what you really don't want to smoke, they're good now.

Please elaborate PeeJay, - this is my first and I think it was mentioned once in here so I got a few back from the US mainly because Banos asked.

The curiosity just struck me after reading about it online. I guess the marketing people are doing a good job! And [MENTION=13473583]Hookmaker[/MENTION] was kind enough to help out, it all turned around pretty quickly!

Not smoked one yet myself.

They do seem to be available online in the states. But I think fairly limited even so.

Next week's weather looks ok. Might try one then.

Struggling to upload a photo for some reason but I'm currently sat in my garden with a little sun warming me, enjoying a Blend 17 from JJ Fox. Exclusive Nicaraguan cigar made for them. Good draw, fairly even burn but not sure it is one I'd buy again. A fairly simple, unrefined smoke.

So got a few Atabeys for Banos and a couple for myself too. Gotta try this mythical cigar. This is the Spirit Lancero. Construction is impeccable as is the draw.

Initial taste is great.
There?s been lots of talk about this being the closest you will get to a Cuban, I?d say it?s THE closest NC that I?ve ever tasted definitely, if it was a blinded cigar I could probably guess Cuba, I don?t know.
It?s not at all like any Cuban lancero, Cohiba og fundy?s at all, if I could compare to something taste wise I?d say P898.

Have to agree. Pretty dull and lacking flavour. First time I've had one and always like to try new smokes but this will be noted in my cigar diary as one not to have again.

If you use Tapatalk app its easier and nicer uploading photos, then read from the computer which allows more capabilities... my two cents.
