I’ve smoked many a Connie A, but this one truly is epic! Will have to try and keep my paws off my younger ones now to get some more dust on them! I only have 5 of the 13’s left!

I have never smoked any that were from after 13. I will need to get a more recent box soon to start aging them because my source for 13 boxes has dried out. One of my favourite cigars!
At least it's the left hand and not the "right/correct" hand.
Speedy recovery and leave the surgeons a tip...terrible pun intended,if there ever was one?
The Bolivar Soberano this evening - a great looking cigar, punch cut, and dry draw woody, and hay. A hint of sweetness and spice on first lighting, gentle spice on tip of tongue, light woody flavours and chocolate. The spice is very pleasant no edges to it. Very mild to start, invites you to savour the flavours.
Ash holds a good inch in and is grey and white mottling colour - solid burn. 2nd third the chocolate has more sweetness- remains consistently mild. Spice remnants in mouth you can taste very pleasant taste along the length of the tongue
Woody notes remain throughout - sometimes in background, sometimes in the fore. The spice definitely picks up, but never overpowering. Young cigar reveals itself slightly more- but never a nasty edge to it. Slightly wonky burn, but not needing touch ups. More spice in mouth - licking lips - it?s so pleasant a taste sensation along with an expresso martini
The cigar is just edging end of 2nd third. Decide to switch to an Imperial Ale - the Boli reflects the switch presenting a taste of coffee, chocolate and creamy molasses. Spice still there and has gone just above mild but lovely creaminess and dried fruit in final third. Nutty flavours in final third. Strength building beyond mild strength increasing. The spice remains in the mouth which probably indicates youth, but not unpleasant more mouth watering. Pair this cigar with a strong drink - will match with the strong flavours Dark ale or a big red wine.
This definitely has legs on it to become a classic with resting. Perfectly smokeable now 1hr 20 mins. A young one both to enjoy now. Rest it and I think the rewards will make it a classic.

I remember you wasn’t too keen when they were fresh, the two I had I thought they were great. I need to revisit soon.
Yes, I found it a little rough around the edges at that time. It is now totally gone, which is normal since they are over two years old now. I still feel it needs moe time down and am pretty sure that it will develop into a great cigar. Got me thinking about adding a box or two to my stash.
