This morning, having finished my patrols early to give myself an hour, i got stuck in to a Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2. I nearly gave in half way through the night, but remembered Simons recent review, and how he mentioned to set aside time to enjoy the experience; I'm glad i took his advice.

I have to say, I agreed with your review completely Simon. It was your review that made me pick this out tonight so I could compare notes. Wonderful cigar, lovely flavors and a splendid aroma. The only trouble i had was with occasional uneven burning, but it wasn't troublesome enough to dent my feeling on the cigar. The only thing I had trouble with is that i was getting notes in the aroma of honey in the last 3rd, which i had not seen mentioned in reviews. I don't know if this is my lack of experience, but it was a subtly different sweetness to the caramel which I had also picked up. Very pleasant though.

I am now thinking of how to justify spending the cash on a box of these to add a little age to. I can afford to, but need to be a little careful this month as my company has been eaten by a bigger company which will affect my pay date!
Warning: Smoking cigars may cause a slow and delicious death.

I started to my day with a Juan Lopez Seleccion No2 with a strong coffee. I like this cigar too. It has developed a lot since I first purchased it. I still have around 8 left and I will not touch them at least for 6 months. A friend just got back from ffice:smarttags" />lace w:st="on">Cubalace> with 8 boxes of 25 I had ordered :-)fficeffice" />>>

This evening I will be sitting outside a pub in Dublin having a SLRa and then a Chinchalero petit robusto. The weather's beautiful here and if I can only find a table at 5.30, I'll be laughing!

Started me glorious day off with a fine Trinidad Reyes and a cup of Mexican Joe.

You are right TJ. English is my second language, I do check it sometimes. I just fired up a Partagas SDN4 with a JD&Ginger Ale. It's a fantastic combination.

Symon, I had to get an antibiotic when I had my first Cohiba Maduro Secretos. It is a strong cigar....

Had a A.Fuente while scribbling some notes, also made myself a coffee towards the end, was getting some lovely chocolatey tones, mmm nice.

First fuente also, very good little smoke, can tell this is one of the better NC's

As I've got some SLR Serie A on the way from ACMCC, I thought I'd fire up the one I had left that's been sitting in my humi for 3 months since the last one. I punched this one rather than cutting it-very nice and neat.

Exceptional! Very much looking forward to some more turning up.
