Bolivar Belicosos Finos, a torpedo robusto sized 'gar.

    Length: 140
    Gauge: 52

Think this is my first Bolivar. Came as a birthday pressie from the old man.

    Smells good.

Sweet caramel taste. Quite nice to begin with.

A lot of chocolate now, probably more than other gars I know well. I might invest in some of these.

...I'm not too good with attributing 'tastes' to be honest. I try, but I struggle, I know TJ does too, so I'm glad it's not just me.

I'm thinking of an archey upmann torpedo, as it's my puro saturday. Im mulling over the D4, but Im trying to age that to make sure my second D4 isn't as bad as my first time experience....

Just received box of 25 San Cristobal de la Habana Principe; trying one out with a cup of coffee, and enjoying the sun. Perfect draw, burning well & loving the sweet coffee aromas.. Is there a better way to enjoy a sat afternoon?!

Had a few of the boli beli finos, they're very good but I've found them to sometimes have a stiff draw- anyone else experienced this with these sticks?

                        No problems.

Smoked a couple of boxes in the past mb, without any problems at all to be honest.

Maybe it was just the odd one or two in your box?

Unfortunately 2 out of the 5 I bought from cigarone has issues.. Prob just one of those things, lovely sticks tho and I'd still consider getting a box sometime. They age well aparently..

Deano what did you think overall? I'd like to try the Boli EL and see how that compares..

Done my chores for the day...browny points bagged with the missus....

So now chilling in the warm sunshine with a very cold bottle of beer and just sparked up one of my new R&J Dukes EL2009...

Bloody good cigar, and will only get better as they grow old...

What to have after the BBQ???

Archey upmann torpedo, can't remember the exact vitola name. Very nice choice for puro saturday, my shop closed today so I smoked in its honor, and archey did that job very well.

Slight issue with burn occassionaly, but most of the time blue neon smoke was emitting from the cigar, and draws were fine. Got some interesting pallete tastes, but nothing distinct that I could discern, I was more attentive over the closure, and some other issues, and overall..just chilling!
