Lit up a Black Pearl robusto. Real nice flavors on this one! I'd go out on a limb and say there was a strong caramel taste, and a few other very pleasant tastes, pretty complex! Enjoyable all around right down to the last inch.

First up for today a EO NO.21 medium in body long on aftertaste! Aboundant pepper but smooth never harsh. Pepins creation for sure!

        Hi Mr. B,

I had one of the Black Pearl (the copper band one) recently and was pleasantly surprised by both the taste, a lot more complex than expected and picture perfect burn. HAving said that I don't seem to recall a lot of sweetnes, just a bit towards the end.

What colour was the band on this one? If I remember right it should be either copper (cobre) red or purple.

definitely a smoke to enjoy with ice water. and not to have smoked anything before because its such a light start. whole cigar really is quite light with the age on. beautiful punch flavoroso.

punch, like the coke of cigars! the britney spears of music. poppy and delicious!

Had a NC HdM #1. It was terrible. No complexity at all, just toasted bread flavors throughout the entire stick. Very disappointed since I only smoke a cigar a week. Maybe next week will be better...

SLR Serie A on the drive back tonight. Really tough to draw even with some massage and poking with the magical giant paperclip that lives on the dashboard. Will try and leave the others for a few months to see if they soften...
