Worked through a Party Presidente (from a trade with Ss) last night. This was my first of these and I was expecting to get kicked around a bit as I'd read they can be powersticks from time to time. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was civilised. A nice smoke, which was paired up with a drop of Laphroaig from mid-way, but that's another story, found elsewhere on these fine forums.
        Cheers Steve for the opportunity.

A Party SP2, with a drop of cuban rum. A perfect end to a crap week.

I've had a few from different sources and always been a bit disappointed with them ....I love the look of them and really want to like them but they've always been a bit...meh!?!

I do know what you mean Stevietheconstructivecriticist: a very accurate reflection there They don't pack as much flavour as the vitola would suggest, it was subtley Party, but I was content with my first and it paired well with the scotch I had.

I had my third Romeo y Julieta Duke. I have to say that I've really enjoyed both this cigar and the H. Upmann Mag. 48 from the most recent LE releases. The Duke is still quite young but shows a lot of great RyJ flavors.
