Seems like partagas is a popular smoke today! Currently in the middle of a d4 from 2007, really great smoke!

Has anyone ever actually had a 'bad' D4? :P They really do seem like a terribly consistent smoke.

I've got three downstairs in the humi, one of which I need to smoke soon, but the first time I ever 'tried' (operative word being 'tried') to smoke one the wrapper just wouldn't play ball. Granted I'd had it outside a humi for a few days (this was in the early days before I actually had one), but it really seemed to be a dud. Thought about taking it back to the store (which shall not be mentioned - mainly because they are otherwise excellent), but couldn't justify the trip into Central on that occasion. Just bad luck I guess?

Interesting. Well it's simply a statement of fact to say that my ONLY experience with them thus far was an entirely unrewarding one! Better luck next time I guess

Every D4 ive had has been brill, there my fav stogie EVER... However that said, im currently smoking very gingerly a Don King Limited Reserve... 4th stick today and also trying to beat Kingcohibas 7.6cm record in the big ash comp.. trying to kill two birds with one stone
