What did you make of it as a CC smoker? One of my favorite NCs I had in the past year.

4th cigar of new cigars in my humidor. I ordered a few couples to test out some sticks I never tried before.

Funky foot. The wrapper is cut short. After lighting that part was fully lit before I took a draw. Flavour-wise it can't compete with the La Lay and La Aurora. It has some nice honey flavours, but they are hidden behind a ton of pepper. Seller recommends to put them away for a year or two and I can see how they would profit from it, like other Nicaraguan tobaccos. However, I doubt they will develop anywhere close to what I had the last two days, so won't order more of these.

Mind you, they are not bad. Complex, nice transition of flavours and all, but generally not pumped with Flavours I enjoy.

I quite like it. This is the third time I’m smoking one and I haven’t been disappointed once. The only downside is that the draw is too open for me in the beginning but after a little over a cm it gets better.

I had planned to have a fifth Monte today but a box of Las Calaveras L46 arrived and I couldn't resist. Despite being two years older it wasn't as good as the L47 being spicier.
