Trying a Partagas Capitols this morning after arriving home. I was wondering is this was as bad as my most hated smoke: the Shorts.
But actually it’s endurable- reminds me of the RyJ Cazadores actually 😎

Strong cigar I thought Hookmaker for sure. I needed a break by the last third!

Today I forgot my cigars at home ... But I found a whisky shop with a few tubos while chasing antique markets in Guildford today. Fresh as can be Petite Tubos £21. Wouldn't cut it for me either. Covid. Managed to use the tube lid to carve off the cap. Reasonable job!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

      Ouch. Ouch.

Also no jet lighters around so I've burned my thumb a couple of times.

San Jeronimo Habano Torpedo from Boutique Smokes

Very smooth, fairly mild, but pleasant and easy going all the way. Woody, cinnamon, and actually one of the first cigars I've managed to get a distinct leather flavour from, possibly due to the smoothness allowing for a full puff retrohale. I'd probably buy a fiver again, but note not to bother after any sort of heavy meal... My pork sandwich and pale ale was about the limit before the flavours would have probably turned too muted.

Good effort using the Tubo lid! Nothing stands in the way of a good cigar!

How's the flavour and smoke output on these? Tempted to get some or the Maduros.

These are a smooth mild smoke not unlike a large Upmann and they put out plenty of smoke.
