Thank you! I really enjoyed it but if I'm being honest I was a little disappointed. I love the format. It smoked flawlessly, no relights or touch ups but it didn't quite deliver on flavour. Due to looking so perfect I was left with the kind of feeling I get when I go to a smart restaurant only to be served an average meal.Originally posted by ha_banos View Post
Ah there it is. Many happy returns! How was it?

I've not tried one yet. Expecting a very light cigar. Some say light cigars can age very nicely. ERDM, HdM as a couple of examples.Originally posted by Adamsmokes View PostThank you! Adam, It's easy to have high expectations for such a classic cigar but you have to remember it's a R&J & they are middle of the road flav wise in the Havana scale. Also age matters but with 6yrs it's probably as good as it's going to get for modern day tobacco. If you try the Anjedos, there are from 2008 so a bit older & very nice but the old tubes are best, you might find one in a London cigar merchants.Originally posted by ha_banos View Post

For more flav Julieta No2, I'd chose VR DA or of course, Boli CG but neither is the Boli overly strong, compared say to the BF but it's a wonderful smoke IMHO.

Thanks for the tip Simon, it's all part of the cigar journey for me. I'm really getting into Bolivar at the moment so the CG is certainly on my listOriginally posted by Simon Bolivar View Post
