Morning smoke in mild spring weather.
Penamil no 2, quite old and with an interesting taste profile. Indeed a distinctive Cuban taste, but the extremely white ash (magnesium) doesn’t quite add up to the usual Vuelta Abajo profile.
Can anyone shed some light on the amount of Cuban tobacco in Penamils?

First cigar at my new place. Warm spring weather and I am enjoying the new pavillion with view of the garden.

Epping forest walk today. Walked by an American woman walking her dog. She coughed and spluttered and wafted her hands as she passed the other way. About 4-5 meters away from me. Lol.

Hi Henrik, I haven't heard of this marca specifically but if it claims to have Cuban tobacco, it's what we call a clear Havana. Back in the 60's & early 70's tobacco leaves were exported to Florida, UK & Spain & no doubt other countries too, where it was rolled by machine i.e. Cuban tobacco but not rolled in Cuba. They can be good machine smokes, although they are rather mild these days due to their age but I am still smoking & enjoying them.

Epicure No.2, probably the nicest cigar I’ve smelt when taking it out the tube.

Afternoon chaps, spring is in the air!

thought I’d get round to smoking this beautiful cigar; DAG a discontinued smoke that tastes gorgeous (it bloody would do! Ha) I do have one more left

I've been looking for these custom #2 for weeks and found them this morning searching for something else. A good hour and a half smoke.

Unfortunately no, took a break from the river and went on a Stillwater. Not really my thing but was a change of scenery.
