Aviator Envoi - now these are very tasty smokes - flavours of cocoa powder/chocolate/cedar/cream with a little touch of sweetness in first third - very nice indeed...I even get faint hints of anise perfume in the finish - flavours seem to evolve on every draw. Must be something to do with the double binder - Pandora thanks for putting us on to these beauties 👍

I don't mean much. Windtunnel and it tasted like crap. It was so bad that I ditched it shortly after hitting the second third. I haven't ditched more than 4 or 5 cigars so far.

The La Gloria Spanish regional I had recently wasn't good either... Is this typically a marca that doesn't perform very well, or just a few duds?

I agree. I pulled one out to smoke soon but out of the 4 or 5 that I've smoked so far only one was to my liking. Weirdly I favour the big LGC REs even though they are completely opposed to the regular production of the marca. The best one RE that I have smoked is the Glorias which I find absolutely stellar. I was an idiot when I traded away some of these a couple of years ago as I only have 12 left now. The Orgullosos is pretty good as well even though I have encountered construction issues on most of the ones that I've smoked.

I agree on the no.5 aswell, worst smoke I've had in ages, fireproof wrapper and crappy taste. Can't see me reaching for another for a long while.

I nearly reached for the one I pulled out the other day this morning but changed my mind as I didn't want to have a bad cigar today. I smoked a Casanova instead and it sucked.

I had a D5 on our virtual herd a few months ago and wasn’t impressed. It’s a Dec 17 box from memory, will try another in the autumn and see if there’s been any progress but my hopes aren’t very high 😂
