Starting my birthday weekend with a LaLey Reserva. These used to be pleasantly mild cigars, full of flavour. But with age, they're getting stronger and stronger! Looking forward to see how they have evolved.

Happy Birthday! Going to a friend's BD tonight, a football pub quiz - she's football mad, just hope we don't come last as I can't remember anything since 2004.

Classy elegant smoke with this RP No 6. Burn a bit uneven but easy draw produced a great ash and plumes of rich creamy caramel and cedar smoke. Had a little pepper zing and strength to it as well, so a really nice crossover stick of CC and NC flavours.

This was another CA top 25 stick, this was no 9, and again a quality smoke from what looks like a very good year for my taste.

Happy birthday! Also my birthday weekend seeing as I've not much chance for a smoke on Monday... A Davidoff Late Hour Robusto for me. Pretty nice dark flavours, but does tail off a bit into the final third. In my opinion, based on this single, probably not worth the premium price tag.

A dominican Principes today, courtesy of my friends humidor. Mellow but not alot of flavours going on. Ash held on very well though, got about 2 inches down before it dropped.
