Nice first post smoke, if you like the format, Partagas do a Mille Fleurs too.

            Thanks Simon Bolivar!

I stumbled upon the partagas version when, in trying to follow advice from Romeo Allones re looking up YouTube videos on flavour profiles on the mille fleur prior to smoking to assist in identifying flavours, I realised I was watching a few videos on the partagas instead of the RJ 🙄😣😂.

So far I've tried about 5 perlas. Thias and the punch coronations I've tried have been my first taste of the petit coronas/mareva format - nice to have a bit more time with the cigar. Looking forward to seeing how I get on with the Robustos. Just experimenting with basically everything at the moment.

As mentioned by McDee, RA Small Club Coronas is the cigar that Carlsberg would probably make! Seriously tasty short smoke, never had a bad one & good from the shop, even better aged. Another modern classic is the pic above from our Brother Vitola - the HU Half corona. The format is actually very old but this was only released in 2011. So only 10yo old but a firm fav with many on here. Don't know if you can still find the tin of 5 but it's great to buy once & then top up with singles.

I was going to comment on Vitola post there just to say that I feel an attachment to the HUHC as that was the first one I tried. I got the tin of 5 you mentioned and had two out of them, shared the others with friends. Loved them. I've read good reviews on both the RASCC and the Partagas Shorts and the series d 6. I've just received the Partagas Shorts but both the others (and some more HUHC) are defo on the wishlist

Hang around 4-5months, make 100-150 posts & get PM's. Then contact me for a couple of 5yo RASCC, just to see the potential of these wee sticks; with the warning they won't taste quite the same straight from the shop again!

That's very kind of you Simon Bolivar. Would be nice to experience the impact of aging on taste. In the interim, I'll try some fresher RASCC as a comparitor. Appreciate the offer
