Tried an Atabey Divinos today, I've heard good things about them and they're not cheap by US standards, okay but not outstanding, you can get better smokes for less money.

Yh defo, davidoff still expensive, some of the Dominican brands are $150 for a box of 25 toro’s, shame you can’t bring more than 50 per person, for a $1000 I could open my own tabacconist lolOriginally posted by Midas View Post

If i was you Bigdog I'd be trying to sniff out some La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bulls. They are worth seeking out and i think they'd definitely be your cup of tea.Originally posted by Bigdog View PostYh defo, davidoff still expensive, some of the Dominican brands are $150 for a box of 25 toro’s, shame you can’t bring more than 50 per person, for a $1000 I could open my own tabacconist lol

Bigdog Just a little tip, the Don Lucas cigar tour is a tourist trap but worth a visit as they have a walk in humidor bigger than the size of JJ Fox's store. You used to be able to book it for free through your hotel and they send a minibus to pick you up. I say a tourist trap because it also includes flavoured rums and a chocolate making display with the intention of tempting you to buy. That said, go with your eyes open and it's worth a visit. Ten years since I last went but I was given a nice robusto to smoke as I went round.
