There was almost none in Madrid. A couple of 5-packs but no boxes. I was in 30+ shops. The stock situation is awful. Slightly better than the last time I was here in 2022.
Not a single stick of the JL RE anywhere. I was chatting to one of the owners and he said he got 100 boxes in and they were sold that day

The first Cuban for manu in the 70's - 2000's. It was the most popular vitola & widley obtainable, even in restaurants & hotels, where a small humidor would be passed around at the end of the meal. My first Cuban too (though I'd smoked cigars for 20yrs previously), on hols in Spain. The start of a financial slippery slope, even at previous prices!

Sounds like a great time to get into cuban cigars.
Was listening to the latest lounge lizards podcast where Rob Ayala was saying how Monte 4's are just not selling now due to the price increases, probably not in the top 20 now.
I love PC's but the M4 has never been a favourite of mine, nor the Por Larragnaga. Not that I dislike them but I've always preferred the other PC's. The Rafael Gonzalez, Sancho Panza and RyJ all seem underrated. Have a few left of the SLR, Punch and Juan Lopez and I wish they were still available, all great cigars.
Never tried the ERDM, heard good things, remember them being available when I started smoking and wish I'd picked some up.
