Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua. Barnyard taste on the cold draw, thankfully not when lit. Lots of soft fluffy smoke, but unfortunately I can't taste anything.
This afternoon a very special cigar. A Party Series D No1 2004. My first was gifted to me from WoolyWill of the old Club Habanos, as part of a very generous Secret Santa! His generosity blew me a a aye, almost as much as the amazing cigar, which I smoked on my birthday, inside my local Antwerp cafe.
I then bought a box of 25, af a Cgars auction in 2012 for £17.66 each! A price we'll sadly never the the likes of again, for even a regular Havana of this size. I split that box with another friend from that site Neil, Habanos Martyn, will remember.
So today, after many yrs of being the last one, sitting in a singles Humi, I finally decided to take it down my local pub & burn it.
I just had my Cholesterol & other blood results today, all down within normal vales, after losing weight since February, when it was borderline.
The cigar itself is an imposing size, perfect wrapper, perfect construction. No coffee this time but a pint of Wadsworth's X . The draw was perfect, by just punching it & remained so. The ash only fell x2. The flav, although not as rich as that first fresh one, had mellowed but still a delightful vintage Party profile. Lasted 75mins of enjoyment, in the August sunshine. Enjoy your smoke today.
