Good news: On Friday the bank made the repayment via e-banking and a few days ago I received the repayment paper. Now I have no obligation to the bank! The whole affair left me with some health issues but it is not something irreversible. I only think of my compatriots who especially after the 2010 crisis, lost factories and businesses, others got divorced, others became unemployed and ended up Homeless on the street. Others barely make it with the loan and credit cards that put psychological pressure on them and create problems in their lives.
I've already started saving money and that means I can more easily buy more cigars and pipe tobacco.
Bad news: The day before yesterday, the 20-year-old dog of our best man's daughter, Sisy (from Anastasia=Resurrection), past away in her sleep. In recent years, she had gained weight and had heart problems but she was always lively, happy, and liked to play with visitors. She would go to each one of them for cuddles and games and always wag her tail. She didn't do any damages, she didn't bite anyone and if she was in her room and heard people in the living room and they wouldn't let her in, she would cry loudly to open the door to come in.
Every ''drrrrn'' sound (even a cell phone) she thought was the doorbell and barked with joy because she thought people would come in. When a visitor got up from the chair to leave, she would go and stand in front of the door and bark quietly to make him stay and play with her. I know that thousands of people die and often unjustly (wars-illnesses-accidents etc) but no matter what, this loss is not easily forgotten. I don't know if there is a Heaven for dogs but if excists then Sisy will be there.

We have sun and 92 'F here in Athens-Greece.
