Hoyo Epi Esp 04 this evening, wow! I've left these alone for yonks and I must say, it's gonna be hard to leave them alone for much longer! Wonderful fruity profile, almost citrus, with a toasty wholemeal background.

On Friday a friend and I took advantage of the warmer (if grey and miserable) weather, to head down to the Barbican and sit under the covers with a cigar. Not a bad way to while away an afternoon (especially when you finish in the gin distillery bar... )

I bought the cigars, he bought the beer. I think he got the better end of that deal... We both thoroughly enjoyed a Le Hoyo du Dauphin from 1998. Very consistent, creamy and gorgeous. We both burnt our fingers smoking them to the nub.
