    evening all,
spent a good part of the day clearing the snow & ice round my mother's house!!! decided, due the the weather (it's been drizzly on & off most of the day) to burn off one of the RYJ tubos no.2's my folks brought me back from benidorm a couple of weeks ago (didn't get the dukes or cuaba el2008's, but a decent handfull of ryj tubos 2's (5), boli tubos 1's (5), cohiba tubed siglo II's (3), III's (3) & LANCERO'S (2))!!! i was very, very surprised!!! not the usual disappointment associated with these, the wrappers were dark, almost maduro, bursting with flavour and aroma!!! burned slow & straight.....

    all in all, very happy!!!

What did you think of the Davidoff Sean?

          Auzziewaz,

You did not like the Reyes? I had 2 from my box and i think they are a tad too harsh. but i was told they are smooth, its from 2007, I will smoke a few more before i come to conclusion.

the Davidoff? it was good, the best NC I have had so far. Strong and bold, but as far as complexity goes, not as attractive to CCs and I think it was too strong and I felt a bit sick afterwards. may be i should have chosen the grand cru series which are lighter smokes.

i don't understand, but it seems that NCs always burn better then CCs.
SO not able to enjoy the fun relighting with the davidoff. hahahaah LOL

Tash did not like the Reyes. Flavor profile did not suit her palate & they are still a little young. I'm not overly impressed with the few I have smoked either but I'll try them again in another year or so.

The lack of complexity in the Davidoffs I agree on. As far as the burn goes.....LMAO. You wont wear your lighters out now.
