After spending lunch-time at the driving range - remembering how to swing a golf club after an 18 month layoff - a couple of us headed down to the Barbican. I'd pulled out a couple of fifteen year old La Aurora Bristol Especiales to celebrate a decent weekend with. They were so old that even the band had become tobacco stained! Unfortunately it was bloody breezy - in fact the weather was changing regularly - so we packed them back into the humidor rather than waste them in such poor conditions. Instead we headed off to the Gin Distillery and had a bloody lovely dram of cask strength whisky (Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 31 to be exact).
