An absolutely perfect little RASCC... burn was perfect, as was the draw - ideal for my first one of these! Had some lovely sweet notes compared to others I've smoked recently. Very enjoyable...

A very old (about 15 years if I recall correctly) La Aurora Bristol Especiales. It's the one I was going to have yesterday, but the wind put paid to that. All I can say is that it was really quite a remarkable smoke - at no stage was it ever especially exciting, but it was wonderfully consistent and never put a foot wrong. I gifted one of the two I had to a friend and we smoked them together, and I was quite surprised at just how similar they were. I'm sure that someone will pop up with some psychological mumbo-jumbo about the power of suggestion, but there's got to be a little more than that to it...
