RASCC for me this evening, nice aged tobacco throughout with an underlying white pepper 'taste' nice even burn and an awesome nic. At the end perfect for my evening before heading for an early night,
Cheers Will - good trade!

Last of my '07 Cohiba Genois. Big, friendly smoke, nicely mellowed but I wont be buying any more. I suspect these don't have any great ageing potential.

Does that go for all of the maduro line or just the Genois?
Probably. My experience is that maduro Cohibas rarely work, something about the blend and the aged wrapper does not blend well.
The Genios is a nice big smoke, defiantly benefits from 2-3 years to soften the edges but I suspect has no great legs for ageing. The Magicos is a not a good cigar for me, just tastes like a middle-of-the road maduro NC to me (I reckon these would get slaughtered in a blind taste). The Secereto can be a great little smoke but there have been issues with plugged cigars ...and of course these are all damn expensive.
For me the Cohibas to age are Siglo II, IV, V, VI's, Robustos, Esplindidos and Lanceros. The all have the ability to make great gains in 5-10 years and some can potentially go for a lot longer (10-30 years upwards).
I will not be buying any more of the Maduro line again.
I find myself avoiding maduro wrappers in general these days although there are some notible exceptions like the Monte Sublime.
NB - I feel the same way about the Cohiba EL 2006, for me another confused profile Maduro Cohiba. Of course just my opinion, some people love them
