  • Birthday daytime smoke on 27th in London

I know I have been Mr Stealth around here for a while but Dean keeps asking me to make more noise (without being an arsehole) so I am trying.

First off, April 27th is my 36th birthday and if the weather is nice I intend a birthday smoke in the Dunhill courtyard from around 10am onwards, maybe a little later. If the weather is poor we can move to 10 Manchester Street or Fox?s.

    Anybody express an interest?

RESULT but I thought you and I would be making other plans? Did you now mention doing something for my birthday? Day long HdV smoke in T Wells or Brighton or something?

Guys, need thoughts rapidly. The weather does not look hopeful for the Friday smoking session so probably have to relocate from my beloved Dunhill courtyard, much to my annoyance. I am thinking options but need your input swiftly. We could go to the Boisdale in Canary Wharf. Cheapest place to smoke and it is indoors and comfortable. We could go to Ten Manchester Street but they are now enforcing strongly the minimum spend and that will put some off (it is ?25 quid, or is it ?35?). Boisdale in Belgravie isn’t terribly warm if there is a wind. My plan was for JJ Fox but they can prove expensive and they close at 6, some people, like Dean are not joining us till later.

The logical one would be Boisdale in Canary Wharf but many of you seem to think it is miles away. It is on the Jubilee line, Canary Wharf station and a four min walk. That is like three stops from London Bridge.

            Thoughts, suggestion PLEASE PLEASE.

Turned into a great day and I handed out a good few large Cuban sticks. Cheers to Andy, Paul, Joe, James, Paul, and various others.
