So with no one managing to confirm a decent venue or dates for another UKCF I propose that we may be able to do something in August when butters is over from Canada
It could consist of some golf if you wish maybe 9 or 18 or even 27 holes
Can include food and cigars
We have plenty of outside seating and I could also arrange a band again
So with this in mind who would be interested

And what would you be interested in doing

Looks like 2nd week in August but will come back with a possible date after I return to work next week would like to see min. 20 if doing golf etc

Sounds a great idea to welcome to our colonial cousin to our illustrious capital. Not really expecting to be able to make it this time (the last one cost me an arm & leg & was granted on the basis it was my only club here of the yr) but I hope to be having one in Antwerp with Butters

my bus from London to Antwerp is costing me 15 quid...

I'd be keen to meet and Herf but sold my clubs give years ago due to lack if time and being rather too crap to play against anyone. That said if there was some light hearted golf I'd join in. Without leaving this thread to check I'm thinking that the St James Street event in August? Not heard much of that since the initial thread activity.
Essentially I'm keen so will watch this thread to see where it goes.

I'd be keen, but need to see what I'm doing around that time and how much money I will have... the baby is only two months away and I'm not sure where I'm going to find the money to buy everything we need as it is!

I'd be up for this. I'd be interested in 1 round but happy to take it or leave it depending on numbers. I'm not too worried about a band if that keeps the costs down. Plus I'd rather talk to BOTL.

Just a word about the band last time but they did play in the background & played a good mix of music to please all tastes. If Martin can get the same guys I'd go with them.

For me: Golf no, herf yes ...dependent on date. Personally not too bothered about the band.

The band are all members of the golf club called our house band

i'll be back in Canada for our Annual Megaherf, then...

Martyn is suggesting 8-10th, which is somewhat do-able for me. will have a plan around just a bit, but other than that, it should be fine.
