Yeah I know we can only smoke what we buy there on the day. I intended to arrange it prior, or when we get there. Everyone chuck ?10 - ?15 or so in, what ever it costs and have the band's removed and the cigars handed out accordingly... I don't think its too much of a challange to get done! It only takes one of us to get the smokes, remove the band's and hand them out...

Especially if you PM Robert in advance, he might even be reading this.

I think it would be a nice addition. Would be great if it can be organised before so we can all participate when we get the as opposed to one of us knowing what it is.

I did send a pm to Daniel, but as I couldn't find it in my 'Sent Box' I will reply here.

I would be delighted to welcome anyone who can join in on Monday 29th.

I will select a Cuban (it would have been a Dunhill, left to me!). I will charge a UKCF special rate (no John, that's not RRP plus 10%) and keep it ?15 or below - I have a few in mind that could be challenging to identify once the band is off.

You are very welcome to bring sandwiches, etc here if lunch proves a logistic problem.

As its Christmas I know we have a bottle of Cuban Rum that needs drinking - plus plenty of wine left over from the October Herf.

          Robert
I'm sure there are greater things in life than a fine cigar ........... but right now I can't think what they might be.

Robert you're a gentleman as always and that's a date, I'll try to tighten up the numbers the closer we get.
Mr Maduro - well done for the good idea

Thanks for organising this, Robert. Sounds like it will be a great event. Unfortunately, I am not in London over the festive season so will not be able to get along. Hopefully, there will be other similar events in the New Year.
                Best wishes, Marc

Sound like a great plan - although I was only joking about it needing to be a Cuban

Hi Robert, I have received your PM reply.

A big thanks for getting on board with this! Should be an excellent day all round. Very much looking forward to it!

This is sounding better and better....being far to northern for London prices the 'picnic' option sounds good.

Is that southern speak for 'bloody expensive sandwiches'?......
