Surrey Herf Meet -Saturday 21st October

I've scouted a couple of possible venues and have come up with The Star in Godalming - http://www.thestargodalming.co.uk
It's close to Godalming railway station which is on the main line between Portsmouth and Waterloo and there are several car parks close by. I suggest meeting at 13h00 for those who want a bite to eat and then if the weather is reasonable and people are interested I'm happy to lead a short walk to take in the sights! If you are interested in coming please reply to this post as I don't really want to spend the afternoon on my tod! The pub has a good covered smoking area in case of rain.

In agreement with Grumpybaldy this meet up has been cancelled due to the lack of positive responses. Not really sure that it is worth my while organising another one locally as PeeJay was the only other member to express an interest. Maybe London would be a better option, so perhaps someone in town who knows suitable venues can organise something.
