Afternoon all, never arranged a herf before but wondered as the weather slowly starts to improve whether anyone?s keen for a herf in my neck of the woods?

Not fixed on dates but some point in the next couple of months, just scouting for interest.

I've just popped in to The Star to see if the 9th would be ok, and won't know the outcome for a week or so because the landlord is away. Apparently throwing cigar butts on the fire pit did not go down well. Might be an idea to have a plan B.

Years ago we used to have big herfs at a venue hotel in bagshot @ pennyhill Park lovely grounds they used to have humidors in the bar probably still a great venue

Oops. Hopefully they?ll be cool with it. Conscious we don?t want to be miles from any public transport so beverages can also be consumed. Penny hill park suggested but that goes against the close to public transport rationale.

I?ll put feelers our elsewhere.

What about somewhere like The Inn On The Lake in Godalming or the Onslow Arms in Clandon? IOTL looks like it?s got interesting outdoor seating, admittedly not as good as the Star. I?ve not been to the Inn On The Lake but rate the Onslow Arms very highly.

I am good friends with the manager at The Onslow Arms so can have a word if you wish.
IOTL does have a large garden but don't recall a lot of seating.
