Robusto, so to drop your ash down the sides of a comfy chair is to "slut" your ash? This I did not know! I shall attempt to introduce that into my vocabulary, cheers.

Seriesteve, we can soon mess it up a bit, but who thought white (or off white) chairs was a good idea to smoke on, they won't stay that colour for long!

Jimmeh, cannot see a Hoyo cab, maybe I cannot see the wood for the trees though.

I think I have found my issue with the place already though. Black and red is a bold design statement but I think it ends up just looking like a bordello! The large window onto the street just accentuates this impression. Pole dancing as well anybody?

        T.

        Every possible offence intended BTW.

I'm thinking the same thing Steve. There is something a little bit Austin Powers/Dr Evil about all that white leather and polish and glass. Not very traditional.

I miss the Boot and Flogger over in Southwark, that was a great wee London herf spot.

SSteve, I know what you mean and Bryans comment about 'slutting my ash down the chairs' is about right. I was terrified about dropping ash or, god forbid, burning the chairs.

However, on the morning the election was declared sitting mid way between Downing st and the Palace and watching it all unfold on BBC news 24 with a nice cigar it was, somehow, the place to be.

BigT, the only Cubans currently are St Luis Rey. However, due to all the shenanigins with the Dunhill brand in the UK I believe that it's the first place you can buy the current Dunhills here.

I bought a Dunhill Corona and smoked it and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. It was mild to medium which suits me and tasty so I shall go back.

In terms of range I think they are looking for feed back so have a look and, for once, put aside you reticence and say what you really think!

I will admit to being interested in trying the Dunhill's, depending on price.

Would they turn me away if I arrived in would-be urban Cowboy mode?

Seriously... It looks as if you would have to 'dress up' to get in.

It is very 'designer'. I feel comfortable any time, any place, anywhere in life, really, but will they take a cigar-chomper who is a bit of a slob?

It reminds me of Elton John and David Furnish's Atlanta high-rise penthouse in Tantrums and Tiaras. I am getting Doctor Evil, also.

I'd pop there, but I'm only allowed one pass per decade for London.

I don't think there is a dress code as long as you aren't actually Mrs Elton John. I am sure they will be please to have a man of your calibre despoil their white leather with your ashy gobs!

I'd expect to walk in and be frisked by some Russian mobster's go-to boy...
