Were getting into Teddington Station just after 13:30 (hopefully). Can't wait to try my first freshly rolled cigar by Hamlet, even better when it's free with a coupon lol. Might have to buy another to keep for a while in the humi.

Those who do not know me will be sad to hear.....and those who do know me will be pleased to hear......that I cannot make it either. This week at work has been hell, missing everything good and now working the third Saturday of the last four. I cannot even go tonight, so be it. Bloody stock exchange bastards.

Maybe I should work for a liberal bunch of limp wristers like the BBC or Greenpeace.

Wait, I like the idea of working for Greenpeace. All the others employees would have pictures of whales playing in the sea surround their desks, I would have a picture of beautiful Trident missile being fired. Yes, I think they are staggeringly unlikely to employ me, lynch me perhaps, but not employ. Possibly as bad an idea as when I worked for the Samaritans. They called it Lemming Friday but I had a ball for the few hours it lasted. I do not see how they could blame me, the callers said they wanted to jump and it was my job and joy to encourage them. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Great afternoon at Ajays (As usual) smoked a fresh fat robusto made by Hamlett and a Bolivar DC 1995. Hamlet then tried to teach me how to roll a cigar, you can see the effort below. Very interested and Hamlett was superb, however he did say that if I was a roller in Havana I would be asked not to come back the next day !!!!

?I have to laugh when I think of the first cigar, because it was probably just a bunch of rolled up tobacco leaves?

Sorry... did you say strippers Pete?

Wish I'd forced myself to make the trip now...

Unfortunately I couldn't justify it in the end, sounds like a great evening though.

Now, if I were a polite person, I'd say "Good effort jp" - but I'm not... that looks like it was rolled by a drunk, blind and mallet-fingered monkey... (Still, better than I'd probably have managed...)
