i also do live and recording session work, and classical guitar for weddings/corp stuff

tried that unmarked cigar and it was very nasty, very loose and harsh. win some loose some!

I will check your MySpace out later.
There are a few pro and semi-pro players on here.
Clearly intelligent ones if they are into cigars.
I play keys and that makes me doubly intelligent.

Drummers usually shag the most. Pretty rare commodity.

Keys players are intellectuals and usually think non-stop about shagging but have to self-serve. Very rare commodity.

Singers usually fancy themselves something rotten. Replaceable.

Guitarists are usually far too loud. Loads of guitarists. No problem to replace with an excellent one.

Bass players usually think they are pivotal. Loads waiting in the wings.

Sax players usually get all the ladies' attention. Usually good looking bastards, too. Loads of squeaky, non-musical ones around.

Bloody hell, Leo's got it made, he's a sax and piano playing drummer, he's a made man (of only 9) I will make sure he eats 3 square meals a day, he's going to be busy when he gets to 18

Well my girlfriend plays sax professionally and she always seems to get an awful lot of male attention. Not just from me either.

i agree with a lot of that actually haha, especially keys
                drummers are jack the lads
good piano players with a good ear for voicings are very hard to come by
guitarists, well i hate them all! except maybe marc ribot, martin taylor, hendrix and barrios mangore

been a'chompin and at the moment im liking the light cubans, el rey & upmann. so much flavour, and so subtle. just had an upmann junior corona and loved it - any larger upmanns anyone can recommend, or any other similar cubans?

the cohiba II and IVs ive tried so far, realised they've been far too dry smoked straight out of nasty shops.
the esplendido i had was very very very nice

                        Hoyo Epicure 1 or 2

if you fancy a few more to add to the list.

I've only smoked a couple of those but they seem to be well regarded. Have you seen the cigars-review.org 'listed by rank' page?

cool i added the epicure to the list. tried a ramon corona today at my favourite coffee shop in brighton and i wasnt impressed, found it very samey and bland.

That surprises me. Do you know how old it was? I've always found them to be quite rich. I can understand the 'samey' comment though-not much progression in my admittedly limited experience.

Hi Lascaux - was it the SCC? I've recently bought a box from 08 and to be honest I thought they were a bit samesy too. Try the RASS or RA Gigante if you haven't before....totally different smoke. I LOVE the RASS

yeah the small club corona, i'd describe it as rich but not complex, it was one taste. it burnt a bit unevenly too, found it hard to light in brighton wind.
no idea on age, it was bought from g smiths on charing cross road, then stuck in my humi for a few days, felt nice and springy and smelt good.

i've got a RASS on order
