New to the forum

Hi all, I am Matt from Bedford. Just started smoking a pipe more regularly and my mate Craig suggested this forum for some good ideas, even though mainly cigars. Currently using a little H Simmons my father bought from Burlington Arcade. Tried a few of the obvious , but looking for ideas of a nice mellow smoke..had one a while back with a hint of apricot which was nice but forget the name!

Anyway, hope to learn lots and you never know, Craig might get me onto cigars one day!

There's
Gawith Hoggarth Kendal American Black & Brown, really nice stuff. It's one of the first I tried and it's stayed with me.
Davidoff Red Mixture, lovely mild smoke.Dunhill Erly Morning, light and sweet. Dunhill 965 and Nightcap, deeper richer smokes two of the best around IMO, but perhaps save these for a little later.
Erinmore Flake, can slightly polarise opinion but I find it more hit than miss.
St Bruno, what can I say? It's a classic! One of the best aromas ever.

I always make a point of popping into Harrison & Simmonds when in your neck of the woods; usually a few bargains to be had, and great to see a traditional Tobacconist still holding it's own on the High Street

It's a great little place and been there for years. Used to buy a craft pack of winstons there when I was probably too young to smoke! Will be visiting again soon!

Thanks that's great, will give some a go. Where do you generally buy yours? Online or have you found somewhere local?
