  • Good Morning All

    Hello to you all,

I have been lurking on these forums for a while now and thanks to you fine people, I have successfully seasoned my first humidor (holding steady at 68%RH) and am now enjoying the steady process of filling it with some lovely cigars. My only wish is that the seasons hurry up and change, as the Uk winter has a direct effect on my rate of smoking. I am looking forward to chatting more with you fine people on here and hopefully learn more about this fantastic hobby/lifestyle.

    Kind regards.

Many thanks for a warm welcome by you all. I am currently living on the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire border, about six miles from Hitchin. Despite not being a massive smoker, the current occupants of my Adorini humidor are:

                4 x ERdM Choix Supreme
                4 x Montecristo No 4
                2 x H Upmann Magnum 50
4 x Saint Luis Rey Regios
                2 x Bolivar Royal Corona

I also have a few more delights on order to be delivered next week, of which I am really looking forward to. I also have a number of Quorum Churchill and Robustos kindly brought back from abroad which are not to my taste, hence they remain in my tuppedor until I can find a home for them. Unfortunately, I probably only average a couple of cigars per month, hence my experience with quality cigars is minimal. It does however allow me to lay my growing collection down and enjoy them when the weather becomes brighter and my golf swing improves.

                            Hi and welcome

A nice selection you have there, the SLR Regios are one of my go to smokes.

That's great to hear as I have bought them blind having never tried the Regios. I do find that cigars are like wine - 'you like what you like and sometimes you have to go out on a limb'.
