          Ay up Tony,
Welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of advice about humidors around and abouts, but as you've already seen, the bigger the better.

            Welcome from a fellow londoner

Expensive yes but totally awesome when you find you have an hour on a sunny day and know exactly what to do with it

Good luck finding your perfect first humidor, its a great thing to have about the place, trouble is they look so sad empty

Reloaded or part duex or something

Well i fubar'ed by not paying any attention to what brands i was smoking until the last couple , they'd sat in a small box my wife moved them too for maybe 2 years un humidified and lonely till i was struck by the sudden desire to take one for a spin , the last few were Cohiba and Partagus and even after such bad treatment the Cohiba shone through .
Iv still a couple of Nat Sherman from that batch but after trying one i actually contemplated suicide they were that horrible and made the teso stuff look good .

My humidor is ordered i was after just a nice box but over time took a liking to the small cabinet type and so bounced between to two German company's mentioned here , my wife announced it could be an early birthday present we've been together a long time and its true we're both hard to buy for , ( also subtext was ill make dam sure it match's the furniture if its coming in here . After purchase was advised my choice wasn't in stock but was given some very fair alternatives and may have turned out for the best went for this one in the end http://humidoro.de/product_info.php/...0670cd21931874

Haven't been to a car boot in 10 years but I'm advised we have accumulated so much stuff we now HAVE to do one , i did point out that was her fault and she should stay out of shops but just got told to shush . Probably be the big one out near potters bar i guess so never know might see ya round .

Anyway best go make a proper post ...
