I just do this when buying in Cuba (they only freeze export stock) or buying from non Habanos official outlets. But I would recommend freezing stocks from Spain as I have seen weevils on the shelves & the owners didn't seem worried at all. Check the boxes for damage & then freeze.
Yes, I was just thinking this morning I haven't posted about my cruise, will work on compressing my photos so I can attach them.
    Amazing advice! Thanks for this.

Looking forward to seeing the photos and reading more about the trip [emoji3][emoji1303]

        • While we wait for the mysterious Henrik to appear with some outrageous shots of his collection, here's a little update on chapter one of my cigar journey.

I got outside for a quick cigar, it was a pleasant experience. One stick down, two to go!

          • Nice. Bit rainy today though isn't it. A sunny day makes all the difference!
            Stay smoky

Yes... I have to agree! I also didn't have anything to drink (alcohol or non-alcohol). I feel it would be much more enjoyable with a drink and maybe even snacks! This gives me an interesting idea for a new thread! [emoji848][emoji6]

A drink serves two purposes. It stops your mouth from drying out and the sugar content counteracts the effect of nicotine.

Or leave in the freezer for several months Simon. 😉

                    • Cigar number 2 - H. Upmann Half Corona

This seemed a lot more mellow and not as harsh as the El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse.... I enjoyed it very much! I'm wondering whether the El Rey del Mundo was harsh since it was my first cigar in a long time?

I had a drink (cola) and a snack (roasted almonds), which I think also has a positive effect on the experience.

The last of the of the dream team - The Montecristo No.4. I'll save this for later this week or the weekend

Chapter 1 of my cigar story is slowly coming to a close....

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I think the HUHC is a bit more forgiving than the Demi Tasse, being a bigger RG makes it easier to keep cool. I also think the HUHC is a better choice if smoking young, the Demi Tasse can have rough edges in my experience. They do however age beautifully, if you could ever try one with 10+ years you will be hugely rewarded. I have 3 boxes of Demi Tasse I think, I?m hoping some last far into the future, my boxes of HUHC likely won?t last that long.

                          • I'd recommend buying two or 3 of each... Then you can see how much a month or 2 makes on some cigars...or a 6 months to a year.

Bearing in mind I enjoyed the HUHC, what one or two other cigars would you recommend? I have a small list I'm hoping to try so they can be added.
