Ok, so I'm about to put in my first order.
First off, I've gone for a cheaper cutter to start with - https://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/cgars-cig...ge-p-4422.html
As for the cigars, I think I'll go for the Montecristo No.4 and the H. Upmann Half Corona from the list of recommendations. These seem like two popular cigars to get me started and I have plenty of time to try the rest.
I came across this Camacho sampler, worth a punt next time? https://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/camacho-m...s-p-25278.html
Thanks for all the input so far guys.

However, I suspect I'll be buying every recommendation and more within the coming months.... I've been reading how others on this forum started...... and before you know it they've got two industrial humidors and desperately searching for the third before they run out of room haha

Edited this post as I've found the information I was seeking.
For anyone interested I wasn't sure how I'll keep the cigars fresh. Reading the Beginner's Guide to Cigars on here has told me to leave them in the bags they come in until ready to smoke. I suspect they'll keep relatively fresh if I use them within 7 days.Last edited by Max A; 28-04-2020, 07:41 PM.

O no...not another spurs supporter lol
I'm NW London...so no to far there are few of us on here ha_banos is quite near you...regarding cutter... Suggest just buy a good one off the bat...no point buying a cheaper one...as you will just end up buying a decent one very soon. Also you get cheap one through the orders anyway.
If you have budget in your order add a RASS (Ramon Alones Special select )and a partagas D4.

I put the order in around 5 minutes ago, so I'll have to save your recommendations for the next order, but they are being added to the list as we speak.
My first cigar order:
Montecristo No.4
H. Upmann Half Corona
El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse
After taking a long hard look at the recommendations from ha_banos I decided to add the El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse Cigar. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I'll wing it with this cutter for now and I suspect I'll be buying one in the not too distant future
Nice to know there are a few fellow North Londoners on here.

As for storage, at this stage you can?t go wrong with a Boveda 65% pack and a small Tupperware. That way they won?t dry out and will be in perfect smoking conditions when you do light up. I?d be amazed if these setup cost you more than ?15
