As was said further up, many of us toke one off because of our relatives.

I started by nicking my Dad's cigars as a kid and sometimes think back to him with a particular aroma on the go.

I understand completely the link to your Granddad that you have explained.

Enjoy the forum, and enjoy finding out about good cigars.

In another twisted way i started also because of my father, saw his weath slowly fading way trough many years of disease, he didn't smoked or drinked, he was a bit of a workaholic, never enjoyed life?s pleasures, and i intend to do so. Always liked to drink, cook and smoke good tobaccos (never cigarettes).

James, I'm disappointed. How can you not remember me telling you this? This is the third time now. The first time in Cyprus when I bought my first cigar with hursty boy, which was a Romeo Y Julieta. That was lit with the 84sqn Zippo, from the time we went to pick up the souvenirs with Mr. Webb. And the second occasion was at Alfred Dunhill on Davies Street. Over that lovely superb double espresso.
Okay! His house was only sold recently, but I still told you about him.
Btw James I thought you were on BOTL rather than here? Still it’s nice to have run into you.

The rest of you... thank you. Thank you MaledettoToscano, Gary, bnelly, Nuno Sa, peanutpete, Kdot, skyhigh, jonnor, snooky, jdawg121, kingcohiba, Paulie, cj121, Robusto, Boss Hog, PoohBore, HabanoSy.
              Thank you for your hospitality.
I hope to become great friends with you all in the near future.
              Thanks

Well it's nice to see you around. But like I said your post caught me by surprise.

                      hey thanks.

Yes, well... it feels like a very welcoming community so far and from some of the threads I've read to.
I'm hoping it'll stay that way.
I'm looking forward to the day I can welcome a newbie too
                      Thanks
