By the way, it was probably your mention of the word 'Petit' that set him off (not that it takes much these days) probably best not to say that word again as the old duffer often swallows his false teeth and can't eat for 3 days until they make a reappearance.

You only need to look at the membership list! Some lurkers may use it to bookmark threads that they are interested in, see attachments and receive email updates on new posts. Though if nobody posted, there would be nothing to see.
