well my order is in for my first box of habanos direct from cuba. Friends are going on holiday today and baggage permitting have offered to bring some back to fuel my new addiction, which is quite something as neither of them smoke. My shortlist was any of the following petit coronas Por Larranaga. Partagas. Bolivar. El rey del mundo. Uppman or Cuaba Generosos. Paptagas shorts. San Cristobel El Principle. El rey del mundo lunch club. Trinidad Reyes and Bolivar Bonitas. Can't wait for them to get back from thier hols.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday to my home island There used to be a small tourist shop in Zante town that sold Cuban cigars, but unfortunately it closed down. It used to be great for finding aged stock as they weren't moving fast for him...

Make sure you tell your friends to make sure to buy the cigars from legit cigar shops in Cuba... A lot of bogey cigars being sold in souvenir shops and on the beach!

The island of Zante is beautiful and we love it. We have just booked to go back to the same resort next year so I contacted Habanos SA for distributors in Zante and they gave me a retailer called Teboneras Nikolaos, 5 El. Venizelou Street, Zante Town, so I intend to look them up next year.

Your right about bogus cigars and I had read up on this via the forum. They are doing a cigar factory tour so are getting them in the shop, I asked them to get boxes over one year old if possible.

Just read your post Andy and you describe the way you caught the bug very well. It is always interesting for those of us besotted by this insignificant little leaf to hear about others who share the pleasure it gives us.
