Both. You'd want an airtight container with a humidity gauge inside it.

I was thinking of getting some romeo y julieta mini's to smoke while my college friends smoke cigs. What do you think of those?

I'm not convinced about Cuban minis but plenty of people are. I'd rather spend my money on a single, decent cigar.

Dionysus i like the minis, the only trouble i find with them is they all seem to taste the same, unlike the other types of stogies.. I started off really by smoking La Invicta petit coronas, cheap and chearful NC and a nice price.

The other point of a mini, they last as long as a cig, rather than 30-90 mins

I would reccomend looking at ebay for some form of humidor, you can pick up some bargains if you bid carefully. Also you might try a humidijar from cgars they are cheaper and would do the job. Check out the humidor threads etc on here for some more ideas.

The are some decent sized glass jars that I saw in Robert Dyas that have sealable airtight lids built in. They're a size that I think means you could fit in a churchill and still have room to attach a puck humidifier to the lid. I was in a bit of a rush when I spotted them but I'll reinvestigate this weekend if I can.
