Well, a psychoanalyist like Freud would argue that nothing you say or do is meaningless, hence the importance of his comment that perhaps a cigar can be just a cigar.

I'm not a psychoanalyist, so I'd argue that things can be meaningless, and it all depends on the significance you put on something. If you believe that cigars have some special significance, or if they relate to a particular memory or emotion, then suddenly we have something that might be worth exploring.

Not yet, for two reasons: 1) I haven't yet bought one (but a friend is visiting Cuba as we speak ) and 2) I've heard great things about the Siglo VI, so I'm expecting something a bit special. I'm going to have to wait until just the right occasion before I unleash it
