I did start with a wood desktop humidor but it is quite hot in my house so quickly decided I needed one that cools too and I am sure I read on this forum somewhere when I was skimming through it to get something bigger than you think you need

                Welcome to the forum
only way of finding out what you like and don't like is to buy single cigars some with age if you can fresh
ones in my opinion don't taste nice
no short cuts in this nice hobby
that's the way I started out myself

welcome... enjoy! 400 count will see you good for a while, although the question fast becomes 400 of what! as you begin to peel back the layers of whats out there and whatyou might like/ like to enjoy etc! good luck and dive in... loads to read and learn here. no such thing as daft questions, so ask away!
