  • Good Afternoon

    Hi all,

I have just signed up as during the past year I have really missed trips to James J Fox and sampling a cigar.

This has led me to realise that I enjoy a nice cigar far more than I ever realised. So to keep myself smiling in this lockdown I have decided to start getting more into cigars and what ones I enjoy.

my first question would probably be, where online do you buy cigars? I would like to start ordering smaller, not too expensive ones to try some and experience a variety of them.

Thanks, and nice to meet you all

    Nic

Hi Nic, a new company started up last year called Boutique Smokes that might interest you, https://www.boutiquesmokes.co.uk

A few of the guys have enjoyed their cigars, another new startup that I just heard about is Sin Cigars, https://sincigars.co.uk but I've not bought from them yet so no recommendations.

you could do worse than giving CASC a try for your cigars. Petit Coronas are always a good starting point for trying different brands.

East Sussex, Eastbourne. The sunshine coast of the UK apparently, although we just get rain at the moment.

I’m in Haywards Heath - not too far away

Hi Nic, Welcome onboard! Firstly, you forgot to mention which Seasside you reside at? Too much to hope it might be Southcoast, near Bournemouth? Well worth asking anyway.
Another reommend for CASC, based in Aberdeen but will post anywhere & one of the cheapest onling in the UK (cheap being only with other UK online shops of course, nothing really cheap in UK). Cgars always worth looking at, their selections of PC's & smaller smokes are worth trying. Variety until you discover your fav's is certainly the right approach, stay broad & try a few Cuban's too; you can always save them for Birthday's, anniversaries & red letter days. That's if you think NC's really are much cheaper these days, which frankly I don't see. NC's used to be a 1/3 of the price of CC's but these days more or less equal pricing or even more for the best known & limited release NC's. Either way we have experts on both so stick around & remember there's no silly questions only daft answers!
