  • Hello keepers of sticks

Hello names Drew just thought I would say hi and introduce myself to you all, I am not a keeper of sticks just yet and have smoked very few cigars in my life actually 2 until a couple of days ago 1st one was when my son was born 10 years ago and one when I got married both philli cigars if that means anything haha so with baby number 2 about to drop at any second I decided to treat my self to A cigar and ended up buying 10, 5 Principes Short Robusto and 5 hoyo de something robusto style hehe (sorry not currently with my cigars) and I could see myself getting pulled down a rabbit hole very fast really enjoyed smoking them. But anyway enough of me rambling on hope you all have the best day and enjoy your sticks.
    Drew

EDIT: They are Hoyo De Fuego. No idea really haha just a quick purchase

Welcome among Drew. All the best for the upcoming mayhem. Don't know where you'll find time to smoke a cigar with more babies coming. Might be the time to start the collection!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Thank you all for the kind welcome, im sure I will find time to enjoy a stick now and again fingers crossed I have been looking through posts over the past couple of days and I'm mightily impressed with the collections you guys have hope to have one like it in the future but at the moment I have no humidor so they are just stored in a plastic container but maybe soon I'll get a proper one

Yeah I really want to try some Cubans but couldn't bring myself to part with a small fortune to try them yet as I wasn't sure I would enjoy smoking cigars, in the past I was pretty drunk when I smoked them but yep I enjoyed all I smoked recently and want to buy more

Welcome aboard! Other than flavour profiles a big difference between Cubans and Non Cubans is smaller Cubans burn for just as long if not longer than Non Cubans of larger sizes so don’t be out off by their smaller size.

Cgars is a good place to start, they do a Cuban Robusto sampler if I remember right. Personally I’d recommend picking up a selection of Petit Coronas, they give you an intro to the flavour profiles of the different Marcas at around half the price of Robustos.
