First post and hopefully start of something good!

Ex cigarette smokers (14 years and not counting) who has enjoyed a social cigar over the years since. Previously dabbled with the odd Cuban stick in cliched situations and until more recently have mainly smoked machine made minis...... I've only realised over recent months what I have been missing.

Following a 'little' research and as a result of stumbling on this forum, a genuine interest has been sparked. I'm starting with the basics - tubed singles, cutter and something slightly more advanced than a disposable lighter! Ive sampled H Upman Petite Coronas and Punch Petite Coronation and thoroughly enjoyed them. Im thinking a H Upmann Half Corona for my next....

Need a Humidor / Tupidor next and a better cutter but will build my knowledge over coming weeks and months. Handy it's Xmas in the coming weeks so some book hints have been dropped.....

Appreciate all the previous posts and inputs across the forums and thought it was time to be less passive and sign myself up!

    Cheers

Welcome along. Nice into. Looking forward to following the tupperdor spill over... Do you have anywhere warm to enjoy a cigar these winter days?

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

A couple of tubed singles I'd recommend are Bolivar no3 and H Upmann Coronas Minor.

Welcome onboard Schtick! Always good to hear a fellow Brother, starting out in our glorious hobby. Sure you'll find lots of info hear, stick around & enjoy the ride. A fine cigar on Christmas is a joy but I usually keep them short as it's time outside, away from the family; unless you're lucky enough to be able to smoke indoors?

Had one today in fact. I'd get a Monte petit tubos and a Siglo 1 tubed as well. Try the big boys stuff.

Thanks for the warm welcome and recommendations guys.

No inside smoking unfortunately so it's either wrap up well, shelter in garage or go to my local and use the outdoor smoking shelter (which isn't that bad to be honest!)

                  Cheers!

Welcome to the forum- don’t overlook the Monte no 4 just because they are ubiquitous; they can be very very good.

So 6 cigars to add to my list - I see the Monte no 4 isn't tubed so will wait until I've got some storage sorted - still thinking of going down the Tupidor route initially. Recommendations look great. Cheers

Thanks for that. That's me on the road to having my tupidor - ordered both!
