  • Hola Amigos!

    Hey Everybody!

I am only 9 months into my new cigar new passion (obsession) after being gifted a 25 cigar humidor and beginners sample selection from Santa.

So far I have added a few more to my collection - including receiving some very lovely birthday cuban cigars - the Habanos Petit Robusto selection which I am very much enjoying!

So far my I have very much enjoyed the Cohiba and H. Upmann Petit Robustos, also a Davidoff Churchill Traveller Belicoso and a cheeky Cohiba Siglo 1.

I am of the mind that I am not going to smoke very often - special occasions etc - so quality over quantity - if my budget can stretch to it!

My accessories have also been ever increasing - including an S.T. Dupont Straight Cut/Stand and a new S.T. Dupont ashtray (which is almost too pretty to use!).

I have only stepped foot in one cigar shop so far - which was in Switzerland and I was like a kid in a candy shop! I have been doing nearly all my shopping online but want to visit my local (Havana House in Oxford) very soon - I am also interested in their tasting events in Windsor at some point!

    I have already added a few cigars to my 'wish list' - please let me know if you have tried them or if there are others would you recommend;
    • Davidoff Grand Cru Robusto
    • H. Upmann Robusto Anejados (i would like to try the full Anejados selection)
    • LCDH H. Upmann Royal Robustos
    • Montecristo Open Regata Cigar (and the No.2)
    • H. Upmann Magnum 54 Cigar
    • Davidoff Winston Churchill Robusto The Statesman
    • Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Robusto

I am also thinking about getting a Colibri punch and a V-cutter at some point - so will have all the gear and no idea!!

So nice to meet everyone and looking forward to hearting from you!

Welcome along. Good start. For starters just keep working through a variety see what takes your fancy. Might want to try to double up on singles to go back again after some time. Cigars can vary a bit. Keep notes!

I've just had an open eagle which was excellent. Had 10 years age on it though... Can't vouch for that series young. I didn't get on with the late hour robusto... Let's see what you think when you get to it!

If you are not smoking too often, try to stock up a bit and see how things might change over time.

      Look forward to your journey.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Where is our chapess? She's been very quiet of late.

That's what I was thinking just after I wrote that

                              Welcome!

I have had a few of the Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso all have been great. I actually still have 8 of them in my locker. I have also had the Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Robusto which was quite enjoyable. To be honest I haven't had a Davidoff I wasn't pleased with yet.

If you try The Late Hour and like it then I recommend trying Davidoff Winston Churchill Aristocrat
