  • What a cigar means to me.

Hello all, Nicholas from Germany here.

Although I do not have the palette to appreciate cigars in the way some people do. It is my favourite part of the day. (Normally 10am)

More important than the cigar I am smoking, is the time I spend smoking it.

Spending an hour a day just doing nothing.

If I am lucky, I get to share that time with someone else. Where we can debate the world together.

If not then I can relax and make my plans for the day.

No phone, no Internet, maybe some background music but that's it.

I don't know if anyone here feels the same way... But that feeling you get when you open your humidor and smell. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

My favourite cigar is Leaf by Oscar.

Welcome Nic, glad to see you onboard. I know you love your cigar time & was glad to share a few with you onboard the Brent Charlie.

It'll be interesting to have a member in Germany, where there are still cigar lounges & some of the best Cuban ER's are released.

There are a few things about Cigar time that I enjoy too, first is the pleasure and flavour of the smoke, then the fresh air and hopefully nice weather, but if the weather is bad then I do go on the laptop and have a surf.

                        Welcome to the forum!

I agree, having a cigar can really afford you the opportunity of having some downtime where you can switch off from every day life even if just for a bit. Enjoying a cigar with some good friends definitely enhances the experience.
